OVERVIEW:
As part of the development of nuclear projects in the engineering phase, we are seeking a Planning Engineer to support the structuring, monitoring, and optimization of project schedules.
You will work closely with technical teams, project teams, and management to ensure schedule control and milestone consistency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze technical constraints and available resources to develop detailed schedules during the engineering phase
- Define task dependencies and establish the critical path to ensure smooth project execution
- Coordinate schedules across the different disciplines involved in the project to ensure overall consistency
- Identify and analyze potential schedule deviations by anticipating risks and proposing mitigation or corrective actions
- Closely monitor project progress and generate performance indicators to assess progress
- Actively participate in coordination meetings and progress reviews to report on progress and propose necessary adjustments
- Maintain regular communication with management and the client regarding schedule status and any potential alerts
- Contribute to interface management between project stakeholders and anticipate risks related to planned milestones
PROFILE:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience in planning complex projects, ideally in the nuclear sector or other demanding industries (energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Knowledge of project standards (WBS, EVM is a plus)
- Familiarity with nuclear sector requirements (quality, safety, traceability) is a plus
